The Annual 9-16 Children Poetry Festival will take place on May 11th, 2012 at Goethe-Institut Lagos!
The 9-16 Poetry festival which is competition based is organized by the Art Initiative Center.
This
annual Festival is for children between the ages of 9 and 16 years
old. The theme for this year is EDUCATION: OUR FUTURE and children are
expected to write their poetry around this theme and recite them.The
best Poem win a token prize and a place in the collection of poems that
will be compiled at the end of the competition based festival. There
will be a creative writing workshop for the kids to sharpen their
creative writing skills by ITA HOZAIFE who is a playwright,media
expert,creative writer and consultant.
