Call for Entry: WOMA 2012: Home & Away

Women Make Art is back for 2012 with another 4Hr Nap and Caribbean Art project (CAp) collaboration. We are now accepting artwork submissions for this year’s exhibition, “Home & Away”. Our objective is to interact and engage with more women artists as we create regional and international solidarity through the project. The exhibition will run from March 31 – April 14, 2012 at the Gallery, St. George’s, Grenada.
Theme
Home & Away seeks to deal with all aspects of the home, of distance, of the working woman, of immigrant life, of the woman in the diaspora, of identity and place. What does it mean to be a female artist in the Caribbean? What does it mean to live or grow up in another place; to build a new life; to return to another home? We are interested in your stories.

Dates Deadline: February 29

Artist notification: March 5

Final Artwork submission: March 25

Exhibition: March 31 – April 14

Eligibility
Women artists, amateur and professional, 18 years and onwards. Artists must have Caribbean heritage, or live and work in the Caribbean and or the diaspora.
