Meet Prince Yomi Otukoya, one of our speakers at the NETAD NAtional Youth Forum - Abeokuta Edition.

Good evening,

As we get retire to bed, I want to introduce us to some of the Speakers we look forward to at the Network for Talent Discovery (NETAD) National Youth Forum - Abeokuta Session coming up on Tuesday, 22nd November, 2011 at Aduke Maina Hall, Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.


Prince Yomi Otukoya
Born to the Adegbo Ruling House at Odosimadegun, Ilugun Ijebu North East Local Government on 13th January 1965. Yomi Otukoya having completed his early education trained as a Graphic artist with Mass Media Limited and subsequently continued his creative career in advertising sector where he developed high interest in public relations.

Having worked as a creative star in the early 90s, he emerged the official designer for Cybele Cosmetics and the Senior Illustrator of the famous Complete Football Magazine. He became the house designer of most album designs of Chief Ebenezer Obey from Aimasiko till he stopped active juju music. Yomi has bagged several awards in creative designs and cultural development. He founded his international NGO, ARTKINGDOM INTERNATIONAL which later became a member of the UN highest recognized Peace International Network.

Prince Yomi Otukoya was recommended to PAN AFRICAN RECONCILIATION CENTRE at Switzerland in October 2000 where he was further trained in peace education through the United State Institute of Peace and later became the WORLD KINDNESS MOVEMENT- Project Officer for Africa continent till date.

He is a past President, Rotary Club of Ketu Districst 9110, Fellow, ARTKINGDOM CULTURAL INSTITUTE, SOUTH AFRICA, member Artkingdom Foundation United Kingdom, Trustee, African Deliverance Movement ADM, Trustee, Aquila & Priscilla Help Foundation and currently busy with his global children development project which has taken over 400 Nigerian public and private school children to countries like Slovakia, South Africa, Singapore, Swaziland etc. through the INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN ARTS EXCHANGE PROGRAM-ICAEP created by Artkingdom International.

Invitation to NETAD National Youth Forum - Abeokuta session

Talent is a natural phenomenon, which, if creatively explored, leads to self uplift and National development. With the aim of providing the teeming youth populace with a mirror and compass of life through self discovery, Network for Talent Discovery (NETAD), a non governmental organization aimed at discovering and developing talents in teenagers and youths with a special emphasis on Africa-organizes its maiden National Youth Forum.


The National Youth Forum, which will take place on the soil of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, is meant to pass into its audience the consciousness of the existence of talent, creativity, ways of discovering and developing “it” and also to create a platform for teenagers and youths to learn and interact with experts in various creative fields.

Speakers and facilitators for the youth forum include, but are not limited to the following;

i.  Prince Yomi Otukoya (Executive Director, Art Kingdom, South Africa)
ii. Chris Omotoso (Secretary, Association of Nigerian Authors, Ogun state chapter)
iii. General Manager, Nigerian Television Authority, Abeokuta.
iv. Olumayowa Okediran (Clerk, AIMUN - African Union Pan African Parliament).

Theme: Discovering the YOU in you.

Venue: Aduke Maina Hall, Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Time: 10:00 am.

As part of the National event, an essay competition on the topic “Self discovery; an impetus to national development” will be organized. The event will, apart from showcasing various talented youths, award the three best essayist on the topic “Self discovery; an impetus to national development”. Entry for the National Essay competition is open to all.
